Acanthemblemaria hancocki, known commonly as the Hancock's blenny in the United Kingdom,[1] is a species of chaenopsid blenny in the genus Acanthemblemaria.[2] It is found in coral reefs around Costa Rica and Panama, in the eastern central Pacific ocean.[2] It was named by G.S. Myers and E.D. Reid in 1936,[3] and can reach a maximum length of 4.5 centimetres.[2] Blennies in this species feed primarily off of zooplankton.[4]
